Why is my Radiator cold
This little checklist will help you find the cause of the problem with your central heating system. First question is the central heating boiler running, it may need turning on or restarting, there are usually instructions for doing this on the body of the boiler, or you should have manual, if you don’t a search on the Internet will usually find some instructions. Second check, is there hot water but no heat, check the room thermostat is set to a high enough temperature. Third thing to do if only one radiator is cold then check that the water valves are open, if they have thermostatically controlled valves like many modern systems do are these set to a high enough temperature?

Donelle radiator
Is the radiator only cold at the top, if this is the case you have gas in the system, which is displacing the water, and you need to bleed it. Bleeding is easy use your key and open the bleed valve a little, hold a rag under the valve to catch any drops of water and protect the carpets, close the bleed valve as soon as water start flowing through it, a valve in the boiler tops up the water in the central heating system as you do this. If you need to bleed your central heating system frequently should check for leaks and also consider putting an anticorrosion agent in the pipe work ask a plumber or plumbing supplies store for advice on this though.
